Quick fill

Hi fellas my friend as brought a Rapid mk1 in 22 its got a quick fill and a pressure gauge fitted how do you remove it from rifle ie its full of air ? ATB Fellas for any help

Who Made the QF???
If still has the BB valve, just on screw it slowly
If it is one of Dr Bob's QF.. his QF replaces the Valve assembly!
He included in his kit, a couple Needle bearing Pins and a grubscrew.
The QF socket in his is internally threaded.
So you would snap the QF socket on without the hose!
Drop one of the pins down the center hole and screw in the grubscrew slowly...
Once you feel resistance, screw it in a bit more!
This will push in the valve pin in the QF nipple, releasing the air!!


But if you don't klnow where these parts are..
1...Call Dr Bob and hell will mail them to You!
2...I made a small rod that replaces the hammer-spring!
So I just unscrew the hammer adjuster, drop the spring out and insert the rod.
Now just screw down until air starts rushing out the barrel

Not sure who made it i will take a photo at some point to show you he wanted to know if he can screw the bottle off dry firing it ? ATB

You need to look closely at how the bottle is attached it will either have 1 nut like the Dr Bob above,
or 2 nuts like mine below,
if it has 2 nuts it still has the original valve so the bottle can be removed by burping/dry firing & the valve will seal the bottle,
Dr Bob's can only be removed with the bottle empty.

I believe mine is 12.5 mm diameter x 40 mm length
The length my need to adjusted to accommodate the variance in hammer adjusters...

Hi buddy i managed to get the bottle off i was shitting me self lol . This is what it looks like ATB

He asked me to have a look at the rifle as he said its was not shooting right i have now stripped the rifle down the hammer spring /bolt and the pip were caked in old grease i have cleaned them up i also found the valve body and stem were very stiff i have ordered new valve and stem new O-ring kit and a new end cap hoping this will make the rifle shoot a lot better this is the old valve body and stem ATB

A piece of wooden dowel will work...
Diameter of the dowel is not important, just as long it fits into the Hammer, and is long enough..
There isn't a Large amount of pressure needs to be applied to depress the valve-stem.

There must be a wooden spoon in the kitchen, that you can trim a piece off!!

The one in my photo is a Best fittings, theirs keeps the BB valve, & comes with brass extensions if you don't want to cut/drill the stock.
