More hunting than Target shooting.  Although I do run a air rifle range so get a fair bit of practice!
I also love the shotguns, so shoot clays and the odd pigeon when I can.

Spot on Joe 👍 just what you need round the barns mate 😎

It is mate.  The only thing I miss is a magazine, but I couldn't justify the price of the Weihrauch pistol with the magazine!

One time I was in a barn which also has a cellar with an old wood ladder coming up.  I stood at the hatch looking down, a Rat got spooked and decided it wanted to come up the ladder.  I kid you not it was like superman flying up the rungs!  I panicked, had a shot and missed then was fumbling trying to reload the pistol as the rat came up and ran between my legs!!   I gave myself a good talking to and went back the next time I was there.  Sure enough there was a Rat, and he tried coming up the ladder again... I held my nerve, put the red dot 2 rungs down from the top and waited for him to run into it.  He did, I shot, and he promptly fall backwards like he was in a western!  perfect headshot  :-)

Yes air pistols have come a very long way indeed.
My last one was a Dianna sp50 gat.
I have seen many new types over the last year or so down the range and they really perform well with great accuracy.

The laser is great for close range work.  I have it zeroed for approx. 10yds which is perfect for in the barns/chicken sheds.  I use the holographic sight if playing at longer ranges although I find this is very reliant on eye alignment and it is super easy to get parallax error.  I don't use the holo sight on the rats.

A folding stock would help with accuracy over longer distances 👍

I think it is a fine border line to folding stocks in the uk.
It gets amended each year but im sur ei put it on here somewhere in the past folding stocks.

Here's mine with a folding stock - you're fine to use it if you stay below 6 fpe

Its on my list of things I want to get Daz!

Daztilley

Think they are £30 and they fix to the top of the grip with the 2 metal plates removed - just adds a fair bit of stability and accuracy over longer distances 👍 sort of like a sub 6 fpe barn ratter 👍
