Thanks for your input Topsparx1. I am only a couple of miles away from Ron Daleys shop where I get my tanks filled. Usually a trip to shop,  top up, and home in about forty mins, depending on traffic. If the shop is busy I can walk into market for half an hour to see my old work mates, I was a market trader all my working life, then back to shop for my full tank. Cost including fuel and refill is about seven pounds. A lot cheaper than a compressor. I hadn`t thought about service and repair costs, so they are worth considering. I don`t shoot that much compaired to some of the people on here, so it would prove expensive to buy a compressor. BUT I still like the idea of being independent, even though my common sense says stick with tanks. Ken.
