cockink shoe or button

i have just seen that T R robb do a stainless steel button .the one that is fitted to my one is mild steel and i have noticed that there is some wear on the shoe, what i would like to is would fitting a stainless one damage the piston as that is also stainless

Theory is to have a softer link/button so that you don't wear the piston.

Maybe Impact have spares?

On my Elim same problem, but it broke 10 years ago.Made one with worn tool steel from the lathe, has been working for many years, no marks on the piston, no wear, perfect.The original ones are very weak for a fac.
