Love my Rapid Mrk 1, had it 20 years now, give or take a year.....the reg from KevG was the best thing that happened to my rapid.

My Rapid is still in the box up stairs, it also has all the instructions plus the guarantee but i think its run out, i could show you a video of my rapid in the original box if you like.

I dont think you`ll see many rapids in its box sent from Theoben back in the day, But i have just that.

Lovely looking Mk1 there.
In hindsight I wish I`d never sold my Kevg regged Mk1 in .177 but we`ve all moved certain guns on and regretted it

My rapid as you can see in the photo has been modified, the stock is by custom stocks made for a mrk1 but extended front so when KevG added his reg to my rapid the bottle would not be pushed forward, i just wanted it to look like the mark 2.

On that note i did think of buying the mrk2 back then and considered selling my mrk1, but changed my mind because i loved my mrk1 so much.
After a bit of thought, i decided to modify my mrk1 to mrk2, but without the porting, so the porting on my gun is not like the mk2, because if it was it would have the same or if not more shot count as the mrk2 due to the 21inch barrel.

But i`m happy i stayed with my mrk1, its been with me for 15 years now, give or take some years.

Yes custom stock have been going for a long time.
It was Richard who did some work this year for me on my old MK1 stock.
A nice guy who showed me around the workshop and told me about the past years gone by with old machines and where they are now with new machines.

Just love the look of that stock mate. That gun takes some beating for looks and I bet it shoots good as well. Ken.
