Just joined

As I've just joined I thought I'd say hello and introduce myself. I've been shooting airguns since I was a kid, many, many years ago, starting like lots of people with a BSA Meteor springer that was so old I could probably have thrown the pellets harder. I still shoot regularly, though mainly with shotguns these days.

I have a couple of Rapid 7 Mk1's: a .22 sub-12ftlbs and a .22 FAC, the latter being FAC from the factory with the longer barrel and different moderator. Bought both second-hand many years ago to deal with a vermin problem, the FAC after I stopped shooting target rimfire (which would have been highly inappropriate for vermin round where I am) but meant I had a ticket to vary it onto.

I have been a member of other Theoben forums that have all seemed to have died (I must confess I didn't post often), but I found this place and decided to join
