Rapid 7 .22 Trigger Adjustment

Hello all, I have a standard .22 Rapid 7 purchased new in early 1998 and remains as such today.
I have no idea which make of trigger it has so any help would be appreciated in order to determine?

Can anyone please share documentation on how I can test and then adjust/improve the trigger and what sort of tools I need?

Is it a mk1 or mk2 Colin? A couple of pics would help confirm what trigger you have.

The GAMO is single stage trigger with a long pull & heavyish return spring which is mistakenly called 'first stage'.
Two cures/ options.

Tools..a slave pin to get the trigger in and out and an allen key to undo the trigger boss.
And a magnet to fin the sear spring when it first lauches itself across the room,
Trust me..you may have two or three goes at getting it back in but by  then you'll be an expert

Some prefer a GRT-III replacement trigger blade

8x2.5x5mm i/d bearing goes on pin 15L bringing the trigger and bottom sear contact point closer. pic 1
I prefer a 7mm bush as depending on the sears it can can be very short with little to no adjustment.

The top sear spring can be fettled to reduce its preload pic2

And the trigger return spring 15T can be remade from 0.5 - 0.6mm piano wire, (usually 0.7mm)

I agree i have a trigger shoe on my gamo trigger and it`s fantastic

I agree i have a trigger shoe on my gamo trigger and it`s fantastic

Been looking for a trigger shoe for my Gamo trigger but they don't seem to be available anymore i had one one my first Rapid and it felt a lot better .
