I used to have one 13 or 14 yrs ago, now in New Zealand and about to pick up a Mk1 and Mk2 rapid I need another one of these marvels. How can I aquire one and have it posted ?

Seem to recall I had KevG modified high flow exhaust valve & pin assembly, adjustable hammer, silent pip etc etc. Back down the rabbit hole I go.....

Since you are going Head First down that Rabbit hole.......
You should add on his "new" Double-Tap inertia weight to your List!!!

Looks like I must get one of those DTI!  Can that be chucked in the post along with a reg to New Zealand ? , moddied exhaust valve and some springs all  round to match. Just after quiet, efficient 32ish FPE .22 with 18 or 21gr.   Just like the old days.

Ca_Varminter

Well that DTI will keep your Rapid on the Efficient route nicely
KevG should be along Shortly to answer your Questions..

Pretty easy as an ex-colony. Standard airmail works.
If its any trouble, my mum who lives in the UK can post it to me.

Can I get an micro core reg for the Mk2, and how much, also like the DTI too, and is there any Reg suitable to fit a Mk1 .25, or should I stick with the fast flow ?

KevG

it would be best talking on phone first so can make sure we get everything right m8,can explain better about the dti then regards fitting.

Great, I've got a 2002 MK1 .25 and a 2003 Mk2 .177 to pick up in November. Both FAC. I'm keen to service them and get them updated. With improved valves, reg, and quiet efficiency

Nice, whered you manage to find a .177 mkii?

JR

Hi it was SI private sale for a deceased estate.
Both fast flow, looking for more efficiency without going down a regulated route.
It's the MK2 which is .25 with 23in barrel. Runs 50 ftlbs - way too much power.
The .177 Mk1 with 19in runs at 24. Both standard but at that rate the air doesn't last long.
