Greetings!
Does anyone know the de-cocking procedure for the Rapid MK2?

Well with the Rapid, since there is a pellet in the barrel....
It is best to discharge it in a safe direction... like the ground.

But if you really want to de-cock your Rapid..With a pellet in the barrel...
Pull the bolt back and lock it in the rear notch.
Remove the Mag.
Now take the bolt out of the rear notch.. Hold it firmly against the hammer
Next pull the trigger and slowly allow the bolt to move forward.

Too fire your de-cock Rapid.
Just cock your Rapid normal, DON'T INSERT THE MAG...
Shoot it, then on the next shot, insert the mad as Usual!!!

Good luck,
Stuart

When sitting waiting, I usually have the rapid cocked but the bolt locked back so not loaded, I only load the pellet if/when the target appears.
To make safe just remove the mag & pull the trigger, then let the bolt slowly forward against the hammer spring, it's far safer than leaving a pellet in the breach.

Well Guys, the Simple little things can confuse the best of them...
From the days of the old R7OC site...
There was a Thread talking about how they would empty their partially filled mag,
to fully reload it!!!
I had to comment ..... WHAT?!?!?!?
I told them they only had to spin the lid like you were going to load it...
Put a pellet in that first position, like normal to hold the indexing star...
Then just put pellets in the empty holes....
It was like they drank their First Pint!!!!
OMG

Merry Xmas,
Stuart

Necro'ing an old thread (sorry if this is inappropriate) and I have Rapid 7's Mk1 not Mk2, but should I decock the guns? I leave them with the bolt back and no mag in.

Just for the sake keeping the Hammer-spring Happy...
