It`s looking like all of you who are running windows 10 are going to be dumped by Microsoft, yup you guessed it Microsoft are dumping windows 10 at the start of 2025.

So what are you all going to do when that happens?

They're dropping support for Win 10 that's all, it will still operate as it does now, there are still people using win 7 because they like it.
I've got a laptop that still runs Vista, not because I like it, it's just handy for the DVD drive & Chronograph interface.

Just upgrade it to Win 11, very little difference between them.

Nothing New Here....
They announced this a year ago.... It is MS's SOP...
You can go for the Paid Support/critical update route...
Or Third Party Updates route.....
But all will cost $$$
So My Win10 running my CNC Mill in my shop never goes online.. only the first major update installed.....
My Current computer... I could do a Force Win11 install... I don't know...
Or do Need a new Workstation......

Just wait and see what happens....

My Xeon workstation with dual 1 TB SSD..Mirrored 2-2TB 7200rpm SATAs..
Doesn't meet the Minimum Requirements for Win11... Win10 keeps yelling at me during
Critical updates(the only ones i do)

I think the free upgrade has been & gone 
I actually went out of my way to buy the last Win 10 PC I could find, then first time I turned it on it auto installed the Win 11 upgrade, but it seems fine to me.

Mine was a new build installed with Win 10 Pro but Win 11 keeps rearing is head in update.
Auto update is switched off so at least for now? I can avoid it.

I have no interest in updating, I held onto Win7 as long as possible, (forget Win8) and it took far too long to become accustomed to Win10.
