Rapid MkII low power

Just done a service replacing a few O rings and a new Delrin valve. Reassembled and now I am getting low power after the first shot. Regulator?

A couple things to check..
If you messed with the Reg... the Reg Set pressure my be off.
Also Check the Hammer.. It needs to be run Dry... No lube on it.
If you remove the Barrel, make sure the through port lines up

Barrel correct orientation (thanks Dr Bob). Hammer dry and polished. Should I be able to adjust the pressure by screwing in the adjuster? It is as far in as I can get it which is physically flush with the body.

Basically the rifle is out of zero with pellets dropping six inches at 14 yards.

So is this a Fast-Flow or Regulated MKII??
Also check the index screw on the Black Valve-Body.
If it is the early style... using a grub screw.
You can over-tighten it. This impede the movement of the Valve-stem....

Spoke to KevG last night and he told me drop by today while he checked it over. It was the regulator which he sorted plus checked everything over. Superb service and rifle is as good as new now.

Just got it zero'd in and it is like a laser! Can't thank you enough Kev as you have returned to the way it was when I bought it in 2002 for the then not inconsiderable sum of £799.
