Hi
I would like two new springs for the mk4 rapid trigger.
Does anyone know where I can get them from please.
Thank you

Ca_Varminter

Which two?
Either KevG or Dr Bob would be the best options a

Good luck,
Stuart

I was just going to strip the trigger, polish it and put new springs in if they were available. After someone shown me how to do it  :)

Only three springs, top sear, middle; a coil which is also pull weight and the safety.
Basically just the top that would possibly  benefit from a refresh unless someone has messed with the safety.

I have early and later triggers with different quality sears, this ex-mfr unit was RAF with machining marks and chamfered edges, other smooth sintered with sharp edges.
I had a feeling that this was bit of a wrong un for the block it was in.
IMO the top sear spring looks like someone has tinkered.

Obvisly polished up the contacts, deburred the top sear around the pivot hole and where the spring runs.
Smoothed and polished up that little cut away in front of the top sear spring..before pic.

Also made dome ended 1st & 2nd stage grubs, horrible dog ended jobs in it.
Ball bearing tip grubs ends are around £5.
Then shimmed the blade and middle sear to get them running dead central because the sear twisted.

Check the safety dog, mine were ropy looking grubs so replaced those.

Didn't like the set-back blade on my other a late 25k unit and fitted a Rowan blade.
Hmm..no transition 1st to 2nd just light with a smooth put straight through
