More to the point.. how long had it been in there.

Is that a mashed up pellet?

seen it happen a few times on the .177 calibre what calibre is that

The Rapid is my 22 FAC, the pellet could be any calibre 177/20/22..I've carried all three cals in the bag.
There's not much of it left, certainly been rolling around in the hole.
Wondered why the bolt had stiffened up, the moly60 was unusually dry.
Bolt was last out about a month ago when I put in a peek probe.

Had pellets in the trigger before and in the bolt jammed between probe and circlip.
