My first Rapid at last

Finally found my first Rapid after a while of thinking it wouldnt happen.

Came by sheer chance when picking up something from my RFD for an ongoing rifle build.

He had someone coming in to look at an air rifle whilst handing in a centrefire rifle in trade. Ended up the guy decided to just give up his licence due to not shooting much anymore.

Once gone he pulled out the rifle and wow. Turned out to be a 'VERY' little used Rapid, in minter than mint condition. Came with 2 bottles, and also a CZ match unchoked barrel with writing on the packaging of KevG on here. Though I'm not sure if Kev only serviced the rifle or tuned.

Either way I was having it and got it for a fair price. The rifle is FAC rated so not as expensive as Sub 12's and fills the gap nicely between the S410 I have and the 22LR.

Anyway hopefully some pics

I'm in Derbyshire now. I left Hamilton about 50 years ago to join the forces and never went back.

Yes I was very happily surprised on how good a condition the rifle is in.
