Can anybody recommended a good custom silencer for the Mk1 Rapid .22. I currently have the vortex standard one on but was after something a little quieter. Does anybody know of anyone that can do me a custom ?

Halinfax on the AGF forum makes good mods.

I use an adapter to fit 1/2" unf HW Silencer.

You wont go far wrong with a KevG silencer. I have three of my Rapids fitted with them, and the fourth will be getting one in the next few weeks. I have a spare .177 barrel with a Steve Pegg silencer and shroud which is very quiet, and in my opinion, Kev`s silencers are just a little bit quieter.

I've had one come today from the man himself  I'm thoroughly impressed with how quiet it is compared to the original vortex. Over the moon with it mate

What silencer is that I had the vortex one on and put the theoben flat front silencer on much better but had put power up because its quieter why is that different from the vortex one lol o and thanks kevG for all new bits gun like new Pellet on pellet even at 80 yards lol

kev had a silencer at the time which i wanted and its very impressive. The vortex one was to loud mate, this one is the dogs and it looks amazing. You wont get a better silencer it has to be a KevG for the rapid hands down

The Thing is now your muzzle report is quiter you will be able to hear the hammer hitting the valve stem so you will need a silent pip 😜
