Also did it have those extra Air Flow holes drill into it too??

there is an old thread on the bbs about someone getting hit in the back with a mates buddy bottle that blew of,he ended up loosing a kidney.

At least its out of circulation now,that's the trouble  with 2nd rapids if they've had a expert 🤣on them. Md

there was a website and also a book they did called the rapid tuning guide that recommended doing this mod.thats why theoben changed their design of their bottle adapter, so you could not chop the rear threads of if you did the bottle push pin would come away with the rear thread.

Another dodgy and what I would consider dangerous repair to a rapid, can be seen in a YouTube video on the "Double Boost" channel. Episode "SNNC 334 Part 1", where a rapid action is drilled out and a hellicoil thread is installed for a high pressure gage. The gage goes in with a sloppy fit until it just about bottoms out on the O-ring. You can see it if you want to fast forward to 13:10 into the video. It just makes me cringe, and I watched the video enough times so if a gun with this fill & gage layout ever comes up for sale, it will ring a bell in my mind.
