Hammer length

Hi folks, I've bought a raw hm1000, I think the hammer has been shortened on the pip end. How long should the standard, sub12 hammer be?

Same as a mk2 then, if the hammer has a square end the pip should be 16mm

Hmm, looks like it'll be having a silent pip then!

The idiot I bought it off was definitely pushing it, short pip, a hammer spring that looks like it'd be more at home on the suspension of a truck and 170bar reg pressure

pip would need cutting of and hammer drilling and threading to change to a longer pip on this type of hammer
