worse damage to block was the scope mounts ripped out of block.re drilled and threaded to m7 0.75 and made threaded sleeves with 2ba internal threads.barrle to bent to sort out.

block as a few dings on it.was a bit scared to pressure it up to be honest😁

Well if you want to be cautious about pressurizing it..
You can use hydraulic pressure to test it!
A lot safer since fluids don't compress!!
So rather than a Bang... more of a pop!
This is if You have access to hydraulic equipment!
Chip did this when he test his Titanium receivers.

Ouch.
A real shame that is indeed.
Im sure you will be able to sort most of it out.
I am sure I may have a mk1 stock here he can have for free if any help to him.

just normally do it the Yorkshire way Stuart m8.gloves and safety glasses and fingers in the ears😁

He was holding a air cylinder when it "Exploded"

That is why they use water to test scuba tanks!!!
Liquids don't compress. So if a failure happens.. There is no Explosive event!!
