AR 15 stocks

 As RAW cancelled my AR15 stock order as unavailable to the UK . Here's why I have not been on the forum for a while.
There is no such thing as obsolete or unavailable to an ex classic car mechanic .

So been working with another Rapid enthusiast on this.

Looks like good progress Bob.  One thing to bear in mind is that the trigger slot in the Raw chassis needs to be a smidge wider so it fits the safety catch on some blocks too.  I had to drop the safety catch our of mine to get it to fit.

The other thing that the raw chassis has is an external adjuster for power.....you not having that is a good thing as it will allow the block to sit flush to the back without having to "fit it" to the adjuster, which is part of the raw stock.

The prototypes will be 3D printed that way there will be no bulk batch mistakes that have to be paid for up front.

Hi Dr Bob,

Have thought about, or remember Swift's chassis!
He made his on his manual Mill!.... No CNC involved!
It was a Modular design, individual components were bolted together........
He made to also use Standard AR15 stock and grip parts!



Swift used Aluminum Channel stock with a block of aluminum for the Stock extension..

I'll post up the details of the guy who's doing them. I'm up to my neck in it at the moment, the insurance are playing hard ball re the pay-out on my building's fire. I have had to engage a loss assessor to fight my corner, that's £12,000 minimum I won't see.
I'm actually on hold at the moment ( trying to multitask) can't get the info off my phone in case I lose my place

  An hour and 15 minuets on hold and the phone dropped the call after 2 mins!!!! OK, here is the guy's contact number for the stocks. As stated, I'm up to my eyes in it at the moment trying to get the bread and butter work in as no income from my industrial unit so R&D is temp on hold.
