41 inch barrel

Thought this photo attachment would add a bit of perspective to barrel length discussions.  Muzzle loading 12 bore with a 41 inch barrel.  Apparently it was shortened at some time in the past by a few inches as the catch on the underside of the barrel for the ramrod is cut off. Also an 1864 P53 model 2 band Enfield in .577 which I am working on.  Also my best Rapid.
