Kernal

they couldn't offer it to him due to his health issue`s KevG,

She said he had been treated for pneumonia over the past few weeks and last week tested positive for Covid-19.

Mrs Ingram-Moore said her father was not in intensive care.

A spokeswoman for the family said Capt Sir Tom had not yet received the Covid-19 vaccine due to the medication he was on for pneumonia.

Ca_Varminter

I talked to my sisters... Endocrine Doc an a Clinical Pharmacist......
They both agreed, due to his advanced age... he didn't qualify for the vaccine!!

I wish him a speedy recovery, a True Gentleman in his quest for health benefits for all War Veterans!!!!

It annoys me when they say don't qualify because of age or medical problems, he has done so much for this country not the fund raising but because of the service he give this country, instead a ahole will get the vaccine who is total scum of the earth

Sorry but it really boils my piss I'm ex forces, my dad was ex forces, my grandad was ex forces and he died in the 1st world war

Just wish I could have Corona instead of sir Tom

Kernal

Sometime`s life has it`s plan`s M8,.....

I`m sure he`ll be ok and looked after in hospital,.....Plus we are all gunning for him god bless him and lets all hope for a speedy recovery.

:)

Ca_Varminter

When they don't Qualify due to Age or pre-existing condition..... These guidelines are well thought out!
The Main reason for not getting the Vaccine... it will do More harm than good!!
Yes these aren't cold hard facts on this....
But the only way to Confirm this is to give it to them, and wish for the Best!!

Not the Best Scientific practice!!!

Such a shame he has passed away, just glad his family was there with him he had a good life and will never be forgotten

Lest we forget Utrinque Paratus

The soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.

"Step forward now, you soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To my Church have you been true?"

The soldier squared his soldiers and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can't always be a saint.

I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.

But, I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep...
Though I worked a lot of overtime,
When the bills just got too steep.

And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.

I know I don't deserve a place,
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around,
Except to calm their fears.

If you've a place for me here, Lord,
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."

There was a silence all around the throne,
Where the saints had often trod.
As the soldier waited quietly,
For the judgement of his God.

"Step forward now, you soldier,
You've borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell

Mr Bond

So dad. A great example to all generations

RIP Capt Sir Tom
