Rats on bird table.

I have no idea as to how these are getting on top of the bird table but need to sort this out asap.

Give us a minute Kev i`ll run and get my rapid out , But to be totally honest how the good god did that rat manage to get up on that bird table without crawling upside down to land or gain access to the top of the bird table...crazy just crazy.

I do have one idea though how this could have happened Kev,

Getting up there would be easy for a rat, I've watched them go down then back up a rope. Md

Well I went out with the TL35 thermal last night and the terminator.
There is no longer a problem with the bird table rats as I saw how they were getting up there so sorted out the problem.
Had a few more in one of the barns.
Had a quick mooch around the fields to check on the rabbits at the end of the night.
Got home at 1am this morning overall a good night to be had.

This is my view when the lights were turned off in total darkness roll on.

We used a bucket upside down on top of the pole and then put the bird table ontop of that. It stopped rats and squirrels from climbing to the top and scrambling onto the platform as they were inside the upturned bucket. A good thing to remember in case it ever happens again. ATB Ken.
