Rapid Mk1 barrel refitting

Quick question, regarding barrel refitting.
My barrel has a blind hole for the barrel location screw, assume this is normal?
If I refit the barrel replace the screw finger tight, brings the barrel into line, but the bolt won't close. Loosen the screw, move it a fraction forward, mag still a good fit, bolt closes, but I wouldn't be able to screw the location screw all the way home.
The barrel wedges hold everything in position, it's just that having a hole for the location screw, sort of limits movement would be better with a slightly elongated oval to allow some more movement. Have seen some screws with a small pip on the end which looks like it could offer more adjustment. I suppose the bolt could be adjusted by shimming, probably me making more of a problem than it really is.

Hi Pete,
The small blind hole is an indexing hole!!
It is there is help align the port in the barrel with the through port in the receiver.
Then barrel clamp screw is what keeps everything secure!
Here is a post I did  about how to install the barrel on a MKII.
About the same procedure as the MKI
HTH,

Good Luck,
Stuart
