Had chance to spend afew hours shooting my rapid this afternoon. I'm well impressed with it. I've owned high end pcps in the past that didn't come close to the enjoyment I had today with the rapid, I suppose it's like shooting modern springers then going back to shooting a proper HW80. Rapids just seem to have a bit of charm about them. Hopefully it will be looking a little different in the next few weeks when I can squirrel some cash away from my mrs so I can order a CS.

Seriously if i was you i would smack a KevG Regulator on it and then a Custom Stock from Custom Stocks on this site,...if you look you will see there banner on here just click your mouse on it and it will take you to there site,...Pick your stock and tell them your on the theoben rapid forum and you will get a discount from them for being a member of this forum,

Below is my Rapid Mrk 1,...Fitted with a Custom stock by Custom stocks have a look see what you think,...But i went for the  skeleton stock.

I have spoke to KevG already, hopefully he will be doing as much as he can to the rapid once he's not as busy. I need to decide on a stock really. I have had quite afew stocks from CS in the past. Can't fault the work they do. It's just hard work waiting for that postman to deliver it 😂

Something really nice about the look of a stock rapid, really wish I'd left mine alone haha

I always say if I ever get chance to own another I'd keep it period and simple, although I do agree with you. It's nice to see other peoples take on a classic. I can look at Rapid pics all day  ;D
Thanks really appreciate that

I think a totally standard rapid looks perfect. But then when you see what other people do with them it's unbelievable what can be achieved. Just like kevG's little .20 rapid. That feels lighter and smaller than a BSA ultra.

Well i`m a stick in the mud,...I keep everything in its box and safe with all the paper work,.... :P

A very nice looking rapid there.
It looks a very nice piece of walnut was used on that stock.
very nice deep rich grain.
