My Mrk1 Rapid with Custom stock

The stock was made by Custom Stocks, and everything else is pretty near enough standard apart from the KevG regulator thats fitted,
Which give`s me a fanstastic amount of shot more than it had when i bought it from Theoben.

A very classy looking rapid Kernal with a stunning stock.
I'm not a great fan of the barrel clamp for the sling though due to rapids floating barrels.

Nice,  how do you find the thumb hole stock?  I prefer it a lot more than normal stock, it just seems to fit better in the shoulder & hand

Make`s it a much better hold to the shoulder, making my shoot a much more stable position.
I really do like the stock,  But i`ll be changing it next year for a different one from custom stocks.

Looks very nice. Did the reg move the bottle further out? Is it a standard fore end for the rapid from CS?

The stock was made for the Rapid mrk1 in mind with an extended frontend to fit the mrk2 reg,...all in all a mrk1 stock with a mrk2 fontend to adapt the regulator.

So the stock was made by custom stocks & the Regulator was made by Sir KevG & i think kevG can corrrct if im wrong on this but i`ve owned the KevG regulator for 7 years and its not fault me once,...So that something to talk about.

If and when you do contact Custom Stocks tell them your on the rapid forum and you have seen there banner that links you to there site and you will get a discount from them.
