schrader valve

i hope this is the correct section to ask on, does any one know what size thread is on standard schrader valve i got one from best fittings but it's to big in diameter .so i will need to tap new thread. so does any one no the size tap i would need  i have look'd on the webb but i could not find any info so hopefully some kind person on here might know,

thank's Stuart i found them this morning thank's. and have sent them a email withe the part n0 099141117 of the valve it's the same as best fittings sell.i have asked if they could tell me the correct size tap i would need , so hopefully i will hear back from them.

well i have had no reply back from the USA so gave Chris whistler . a ring i ask'd if he could re thread dummy piston and fit new schrader valve, which is a fair bit of work. for this it would cost £95 as he would need the whole ram to test it as well. well luckily for me i managed to drill old valve out . the ones at best fittings are £14 and one from TR robb was only £10 . but best fittings were very helpful. and very quick to re-fund me my money so all in all i had a good result.

Yes TRRobb gets a fair bit of bad feedback but good result.ive had a couple of the old mk1 hammers from him and they have been spot on and cheaper than what people sell them 2nd hand.
