Took these too oldies to the range last night and these still out perform my other modern PCP's for accuracy out too 50 yards..8)  8)

Both rifles are very consistent and hardly stray no more then a couple of fps through the chrono.

Mk2 .22 Anschutz Rapid
Mk2 .177 Rapid with a 19" barrel.

They are good, aren't they? Nice rifles, Nick.

They certainly are exceedingly good tack drivers.👍

I have two Steyrs and these are nowhere near as accurate as any of my Rapids.

Great consistency and testament to how well made the Rapids are. Wonder how many of the current offerings will be able to match that when they get to a similar age.

Owned a few modern high end FX rifles and they have been so temperamental, so got shot.
The only FX I kept was the DRS and only after I machined up a solid barrel, now the accuracy is on par with my Rapids.

I own three Rapids and one Vendetta and they all shoot very very well.

Same here, three Rapids in the Theoben collection. A Mk1 Rapid 17 which has been modified by a previous owner as it has a .22 barrel. I took it to KevG for a going over shortly after I got it a few years ago. It's been spot on and is very accurate. A .177 MK2 with the Anschutz trigger and safety catch. One of the most accurate air rifles I've owned. A .22 MFR is the latest addition and also very accurate. I also have a few rammers comprising a .20 Evo, .177 Evo, .177 Olympus and last but not least, a .22 SLR98. All very accurate when you get accustomed to their characteristics.

The Anschutz is my most favourite rapid, although I like them all.
Have a late mint MFR here in .20 cal.. Have ditched the original steel shroud and replaced this with a larger diameter carbon shroud with a built in silencer.
Rifle is so much lighter now and I hoping to get a carbon cylinder fitted too, as they will shed a few more ounces..

Very nice looking rifles and performance that you can count on.
The design and ergonomics were the biggest draw, the handle so well!

Nice looking shroud on the MFR, Nick! Where did you get it from? Would like something like that on my MFR which came with a carbon sleeve and standard Theoben moderator on the barrel. I think the shroud complements the wide stock fore end.

The carbon shroud is a much larger diameter then the original shroud.
I had the shroud made by BucketBoy when the old forum was still going.
Not seem him on here, although I remember BucketBoy took a back seat for a couple of years. As was snowed under with a house renovation.

Vehicle is a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder for which I have owned several years now.
Was on 9k when purchased and is now just over 43k

Very nice. Just curious, what is the road tax on your Land Cruiser.

Did contemplate a Land Cruiser when it's time to change the Pathfinder. Although I'm hoping I get another several years out of this first. Although for a 13 year old vehicle, the mileage on this is low at 43k..
