It`s a nice day and i`m stuck infront of this computer coding away with a messed up mouse thats going to get seriously smashed up if it carries on doing my head in LOL.

But more to the question, I`ve only just started to fish,....Only small time fishing for little fish, Tbh its more of a pass time than a hobbie. But that being said here is my question and dont laugh if it comes out wrong lol,  But do fish eat cornbeef.

LOL i`ve run out of sweetcorn, and i`m sure not holding any magots in my hand lol.

Well first, it depends on what you are fishing.....
Some are scavengers....opportunist.

Don't be surprised if you find a Piranha on your hook

I remember fishing for catfish in kings bay - we used chicken livers 😎
They loved em 😉👍

Try rapala lures 😎

Hi Kernal.
If you are going to take up this new hobby of fishing then I can help you on your long journey and teach you all you need to know.
As to sweetcorn one thing you have to remember is that fish cant digest wheat gluten which is why they shell sweetcorn the shell is pure wheat gluten.
The same goes for humans we cant digest pure wheat gluten.
This being said there are times of the years to use sweetcorn as a bait and times when to not use it as a bait.
Now is a good time to use it but as the colder months draw in then don't use it.
I could write a book on fish trust me and baits.
If you need any more info let me know as there are a few basic tools you will need in aid to make your new hobby a lot better and more exciting and help you learn what I call water craft.

Squinty

fish will eat almost anything, luncheon meat, corned beef, pepperami, cheese.. horrible cheap hotdog sausage.. rougher and tougher the better.
Problem is that most baits like that are soft and can be whipped off the hook quickly.
That's where sweetcorn is a plus.
Remember years ago using the bits of pepper in GG mixed corn. 👍
