Bottles question

Hi guys
Just a question on storage of my rapids. I've a lovely .177 MFR and a rapid mk2 .20.
The MFR has a KevG reg and normal buddy bottlefitting and not the shrader type.
Anyway..when changing bottles I follow the usual burping procedure which obviously isolates bottle from the action.
I have noticed over a few months in storage I lose a bit of pressure.
Not so much as im that worried about a major leak that I need to sort but if I burp and back off the bottle to isolate it before storage will that cause issues with the action seals.
Seems a logical thing todo ,just wondering 🤔 if there's a reason not to.
Appreciate your thoughts

Thanks

Thanks

Well it is normal.....
Remember, Theoben use to include and sell hex bottlecaps!!
To insure a solid seal, when the bottle is off the gun, but is filled!

I use mine to secure the valve wrench I mad to remove the Bottle-valve!!
Just FYI.... Dr Bob also made them too... it used the Neck O-ring to seal!

Ah, thanks
I've actually got a couple of those caps so, im thinking to take the bottles off the guns for storage and fit them before use.
No great effort and makes sense.

 :)
