Slugs in a standard Rapid barrel, regardless of calibre can be hit or miss Chris. Size, weight, brand and speed of slug can all affect your results. Choked or unchoked barrels can also have a big effect on wether they group etc.
I had a Lothar Walthar .22 22" barrel on my FAC mk2 which was useless with all the slugs i tried regardless of all mentioned above. Things turned around massively when i got a FX liner fitted. Tight, consistent groups.

I shot my rapid .25 with the factory barrel with JSB knockout slugs and Zan 33 grain slugs.
Zan shot a bit better than the JSB knockout at 100 meter but not better than jsb heavy

Thanks for the info,i did try some H&N Grizzlys a while back but the were realy tight going into the barrel, so much so that i didnt use them, ive brought a multi sample kit so ill have a bit of a play, but nothing to serious, chris

I've tried loads, all super tight & none grouped as well as JSB kings in mine.
To shoot slugs well you need a slug barrel, standard diabolo barrels are too tight & the twist too slow.
