Rowan trigger

I have been looking at the above, has anyone had anything to do with the rowan trigger. Do they fit straight into the rapid and also will it work with a trigger guard fitted

Well before Rowan got involved with triggers for the Mark 4... I did my own...
Here is the first iteration.......

I chopped one of the Early "Stick" trigger arm and threaded a 1/8" rod into it.
Then I used an Anschutz adjustable Trigger blade!
Here is a photo of the early Stick and later Setback Triggers by Theoben...

Then I got my CNC Mill and decided to redesign and Make it more Clean looking....

Yes they fit straight in, obviously they do need adjusting.
If you're putting it into a late mk1 ambi there isn't much room for travel

Well if you want to get the most out your Mark 4 Trigger...
First make a set of Brass spacer/shims and hand fit them!


This will eliminate any sideways wobble!!
Gives you a more Precise Feel!!
Also you can use Ball-Bearing tip screws on the trigger arm....if you can find them..

Or just file to round off the cup on the tip of the standard grub screw, and polish them!!!

A quick correction- if you're looking to bring the blade backwards to reduce pull length with the sporter stock .....then there isn't much room for for a long trigger pull.
Does adjust down to a nice short squeeze tho.

Even though I have fairly large hands the straight mk4 blade felt a little too far forward in that stock and the mk4  set-back felt too wide as if my finger was on the edge rather than in the centre.

Was a little too far back when  in my S-type stock so moved it forward ...I almost wish I'd gone for the anodised button
