Help please advice needed

Hi guys not really clued up on rapids I've just bought a custom rapid that is a mk2 anshuntz block with a kevg mfr reg and mfr bottle .....my question is when refilling can I just unscrew the bottle with out dry firing. Straight on and off. Thanks guys

Yes if MFR, you can just unscrew bottle, fill and refit

Just same as mfr dave if mfr reg.normaly if you unscrew bottle and there is higher air pressure in bottle than regs set at the gun will hold air.from around a couple of minutes to hours.if bottle is at less pressure than regs set at the air will vent from gun as reg will be in an open state.main thing to remember is once you start unscrewing bottle you must continue untill you here pressure release.if you change your mind and start to screw back on before pressure release you can damage the reg to bottle oring.

Oh right cheers kev thanks alot really appreciate the info I had rapids years ago so couldn't remember how to go with bottle and didn't want to damage anything if I ever need anything doing if it's alright with you I will be bringing it to you obviously once all this covids done and gone.
