Hi All
Can anyone help I have a slow leak coming out of my barrel. Is this likely to be the valve?
Any help would be grateful

KCE

When I had that problem last year it was seals on the valve.

Will be either the valve body o-ring (s) or the valve stem seat.
Could be hammer spring pre-load if that's been wound in.

Cheers folks

That should not cause a leak down the barrel on a full bottle...
Maybe on a bottle with a low Amount of air...

The area to check on the Valve-body...

The face of the Valve-body for any defect or debris.
The large O-ring on the valve-body for defects, dried lube, or just being Dry!
Finally the Valve-stem itself!
Roll the valve-stem on a flat surface to see if it bent!

Good Luck,

I had this problem once or twice and found that mostly it comes from the main valve body,....Now when i fixed this problem i smoothed the top of the valve body off where the valve stem connect`s to it and all was good and it sealed again,

Normally dust or grit get`s in and spoils the main valve body seating head for the stem and create`s a gap for the air to leak through,

Hope you get it sorted soon M8, keep us posted!

:)
