My ATN night arrow 2 gen2+ nv sight was only 2x mag but it's very clear with no blemishes on the tube - just like green daylight. The only thing I found was that its 2x mag and thought ...... what can I do to increase the mag??

Have read about a few guys adding doubler lenses to other nv sights and thought - i could try that 👍

So bought a 2x telephoto camera lens - so that would double the mag to 4x 👍 the thread on the doubler lens is 52mm and was too big to screw into the body tube of the night arrow

Had a look through ebay and found a 50mm to 52mm step up lens adaptor ring

So screwed the adaptor ring into the sight and then screwed in the 2x lens 👍👍👍

All done for less than £20 😎

A Cracking piece of scope Daz.
The added info I can agree with.
When I first started to move up in the nv world of scopes the first thing we all wanted to do was find a good doubler to improve it better.
We all scanned the bay and went in to the camera shops which was hard work telling the staff what you wanted and the reason behind you idea.
Thank you for the upload most appreciated.

Thanks Kev - wasnt sure it was going to work out.... but I did think that both the lens and tube would be machined with standard camera lens threads - it all screwed together perfectly so quite an easy mod on this particular sight 👍
