Can anyone advise on how the mk2 sporter trigger is adjusted ?
Its not bad, but I'd like the break a little lighter.

Can this be swapped out for a mk4 trigger unit ?

Thanks

Here is my Tech post on adjusting the MK II Sporter Trigger..

The sporter trigger is not a Cartridge style trigger...
It requires you to Machine the Receiver and drill it for the trigger pins...
My MK II Sporter was the First one Converted!!

I had a World class Airgunsmith, do the work... on my side of the pond.
He did notified Theoben about how to do it.. so they used to offer the service..
So it can be done..

which version is yours Rob as they come in a couple of variations.its just the inner centre grub screw that needs turning out a little at a time and test.the first stage travel can feel hard on these triggers but a weaker spring and a good polish can improve this.

Hi Kev
Not sure which one it is. I'll have a better look tomorrow

KevG

First version as a piston thats in direct contact with hammer then they improved it by fitting a lever inbetween the piston and hammer.you can tell as this later one as a window cut out on the side of action.you can see this when you remove stock.

Hi Kev
Guessing you'll know which one this is then ? :)
Only 1 grub screw behind the trigger blade.

Ca_Varminter

Yep..
Single spring in the sear-strut, with sear lever ..
It is all in my tech post...

Good Luck,
Stuart

KevG

yes thats the later one with lever added.before this there was no cut out window and no lever.
