The 20 cal I bought last week had a late ambi stock on it which didn't really fit the '98 block and my mk2 project was in an early R7 stock whilst I continue to be indecisive on which one to put that in.

So...doesn't have the same presence as the old type but both actions fit better.
Just needs a Bisley adjustable.

I never realised they had early and late stocks kinda daft on my part when I know the early and later blocks are different!🤪 I had (now long gone) a mk1 with that stock and I have a 98 block in an ambi that I built up from bits it's not quite done but very close needs the shroud drilling for attaching grubs not had time to get it done and then the testing starts! It has a 13 inch btas hft400 barrel a 30mm od shroud I made (without a lathe) a 98 gamo trigger block sat in a ambi stock I've re finished my self

afraid so, that stock was for a mk1 with mk4 trigger, apart from sitting 4mm further back the trigger cut out is different.
I had to open up the trigger guard front hole by 1mm because the bolt was being pushed out of line too.
Couldn't move the guard forward because it's screwed to the stock (no thru stock back bolt like earlier models)

The one I have on mine is short of a rear screw so the trigger guard is sort of hanging down a bit at the back the block I got/ used was also missing the bit that holds down the trigger at the back not sure what it's called?the bit the rear screw goes in? I used a small 1/4 inch drive socket with the trigger guard screw through it to hold the trigger on bit heath but it works ok that seems to be one of those bits that are unobtanium what is the blooming thing called?

Squinty

Rear trigger post?
it's a 2ba female for the rear guard and something like 1/4 - 7/16 male thread to the block?
