Pressure in reg

Hi when taking bottle off my rapid s type mfr kevg type reg  I took bottle off to get it filled tomo then I heard a hissing coming from front of reg got closer then whoosh all pressure came out right quick  is that suppose to happen or not is it cos i didn't cock it to take pressure off valve or what anyone kevg or

yes they can do daz.some times they can hold air for ages and sometimes dump pritty quick.but if you shoot bottle lower than reg set pressure the reg is in open state so will dump air as soon as bottle is removed.
