Is there a way to check the Coefficiency of your ammo.

Are referring to Ballistic Coefficient??
Google it..
It can be derived from velocity change(@muzzle and Target) and bullet drop..
There are also external ballistic programs to calculate it also..

Ahhh....Question
Are looking for the Ballistic Coefficient for the above Pellet??
The BC term...is the Ballistic Coef. you are looking for!!

Stuart

Daztilley

Hawke chairgun gives you the BC of airgun ammo in its database 👍
A very good program to help setup your scope too 👍

Well if we want to get Knee Deep into this...
BC of a pellet will change with base Velocity...,
Also it can change with the amount of deformation..from the gun!!
Even though the change are miniscule, it all depends on how much accuracy you are
try to achieve!
Now let's talk about the line of scopes by ATN.
The Ballistic Calculator and ABL(Aux Ballistic Laser) in the ATN scope line is Cool!!

I will be play with this on my new Thor 4 Thermo...Next week!!

Yes it is a cracking bit of kit on the atn scopes.
As to the bc the lower the better am I right in saying that?

Actually ....No....Sorry
:'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
Higher the Better
The higher the BC, the projetile will lose less velocity Down Range....
So this translate to less Drop in Trajectory and more Retained Energy!!
One of the Magic High BC Bullets out there.. is the .50 BMG..
This why you see these wild bolt action and semi-auto Long Range Sniping are chambered for it!!!
