Best pellet

Whats do you think the best pellet is in .22 for a 12lbs rapid, I normally shoot field target trophy,  weighing in at around 14.66 grains, But i find the best pellet at around the same ish weight is Accupell in .22 again.

My mk1 sub 12 loves Air Arms field, they are 16 grains. Got some jsb rs Diablo 13.4 they shoot well through it too.

My diet of ammo for my .22 rapid is AA Diabolo Field 16 Grains.
My diet of ammo for my .20 rapid is FTT.

Sub-12 choice has been virtually the same as my FAC... depends on the die and batch but AADF, JSB, FX in 5.52 are pretty damned good.

Barrel before that was tight choked, Premier /Accupel... and the marmite Logun Penetrator.
I tried those as soon as I'd found out that the choke had bit of a squeeze.

Haven't got on with H&N FTT, if anything I've found that their sizing runs to generous proportions.

In my mk2 .22 sub 12 JSB jumbo express 14.35 grain are superb and beat a close second h+n ftt

Give JSB Strattons a try, they seem to shoot great in .22 Rapids.

Rapids have a reputation for being pellet fussy ,my MFR (Lugs)  takes that to a new level !!! ,must have tried every .20 pellet on the planet ,all crap with a capital K but HnN FTT' pellet on pellet at 40 yards ,but it is a special barrel  lol
