New Theme Development

So, as I do, I've been coding my little head off again for the last four months! 😂 But this time I've been keeping everything completely secret. It's literally just been me and my computer, coding away at night and keeping very quiet about what I've been up to.

So God knows why, but I decided to code our very own theme from scratch. Very soon, I'm going to let Lurk have his wicked way with it and see what he thinks — and, more importantly, see if he can find any errors! 😂

The new theme has been coded completely by myself, and I genuinely think this could push the site into areas it's never been before. If everything goes to plan, I think it's going to make the whole site look incredibly professional and give TRF a completely fresh, modern feel.

I've put a hell of a lot of work into this site for Sir KevG, and I honestly think this next upgrade that's coming is going to blow his socks off — and hopefully all of yours too, members! 😁

There's still plenty to do, but I'm getting there... and I can't wait to finally show you all what I've been secretly working on! 👀

I particularly like the idea of making TRF feel less like a standard SMF installation and more like a proper dedicated website, while still keeping the forum familiar to existing members.

So you all want to see where i`m up too!

Development has always been a key factor in every project I get involved in. I always try to push things forward and keep up with everything that's going on out there — and believe me, keeping up is hard work!

But with me being a bedtime coder... well, you can only imagine! 😂

Progress is the key, and pushing that progress through development is what helps create better things and makes everything work so much better.

So sit back, get the popcorn out, and enjoy the ride — because not every upgrade I do goes right, and not everyone likes the push to keep moving forward in these crazy days!

But that's development for you... you try, you learn, you break things, you fix them, and then you do it all over again. 😂
