Yes...... Screwing it "In" will increase the Cutoff Pressure!

The blue nut is how you set pressure, hold the shaft with a hex key & turn the nut a flat at a time, in for more pressure out for less
The knurled red bit is to adjust the shaft clearance at the green arrow, too tight can slow or even stop the air flow, too loose it may not regulate,
that gap needs to be set without the brevell washers & nut, about 0.5mm
I always mark the red knurled bit & the reg body, count the turns off & you can refit it inexactly the same place

.......can I ask what is the maximum bar a MK2 rapid regulator can be taken up to...I don't want to break mine as they are hard to find, when I purchased this fac it is the MK2 ashulze version and it had a fast flow installed ,I purchased a regulator and would like to keep the power up but have consistent shots..can the reg be set to around 135 bar..

Ca_Varminter

Well the Deciding factor is ... What is the piston made from.....
Some of the stories I heard about the Theoben OEM Regs.. they just used sliced bit of O-ring!
On my HP Regs I use either Delrin or Peek!!!
More durable and less prone to deforming!!

Yep, you can play with the belvile washers to increase the pressure, but to swap from a FF to regulated involves more than just the reg,
FF barrels have quite a small port to control the airflow & give a wider "sweetspot" which will need to be opened, it really needs to go to someone like KevG to be done properly, I bought a new barrel & tried myself but couldn't get it right & went back to the FF.
