valves and stem damage

Was it a ox spring he was using as a hammer spring

To Rip A Metal Valve-body out.... and bent the Valve-stem into a Pretzel.....
I hope he used a XTRA HEAVY HAMMER!!!

I'll bet that made a horrible noise!

he bought the gun leaking needing a service. stupid ebay hammer spring, the action sealing face was badly damaged and could not be polished out.so had to make a one of valve a few mm longer with oring right at the end were action widens out slightly.  very lucky to get this one sorted.

stupidly strong hammer spring and 12 ftlbs hammer pip full length. strange thing is everything else was standard.

bent the stem first then tried to hammer out the valve body.
Either way a proper job  ;D
