Rapid Mk 11 FAC. Serial No 022024.
Tried my best with what's available to get a manif date.The number sequence and count does not seem to fit anywhere! Any ideas guys? Am I not searching the right data base? Or is this going to be a missing link,lol?

Well I think when Theoben made their MFG Date chart... wasn't very careful...
I would Go with the "Starting" Serial# for certain range...
They just didn't transcribed the correct ending serial number!!
IMHO......
So #022024.....Dec 2005....

This list was published on the Theoben Website.. When it was Running...
So this is the only Official one in existence.
Maybe you can get a hold of Ben Taylor... He may have some data on it?!?!?!?

It makes little sense. From Dec 2005 to August 2006, there are 404 serial numbers omitted.This is where I looked for mine.If an added 0 was included in the serial number did it appear stamped on any rifles?
Here's another 'whats this' From Oct 2003 through 2004 and into 2005 June, all allocations of numbers per month total to 323. In July 2005 to Nov those allocations were all 104. And its not until August 2006 that the monthly allocations got back into sequence.Taking 2004 alone did the works actually produce 4,199 rifles to the allocated serial numbers?

No just a single 0, I suspect the extra 0 was more the program used to print the update from 2002 keeping the boxes a uniform size.
The fluctuating production numbers probably just reflect how Theoben operated, they were pretty much built to order at the speed the available workers worked.

angrybear   Thanks for that, that answers the double 00 question. It's safe to say mine dates end of 2005, thats where before the start of 2006, more than one serial number is missing.
