Hi Kev - am still a new face on here but hopefully you can help with a problem I am having with a Rapid Mk1.

It is old ( serial no. 507 ) and approx 20 years ago Ben Taylor fitted a regulator.

16 inch screwcut Anschutz barrel replaced the original barrel and Vortex mod.

It has recently been 'serviced' - new o-rings and power set to 28ft/lbs - there was also an issue with the pellet probe which I am not 100% clear on. Worked well for a while but once again i am losing power from the off.

Have attached x2 12 shot strings from a 200bar fill. The first is shots 1-12. The second is shots 25-36. Using 15gr JSB Exact Jumbo's.

(The additional attached screenshots show ft/lbs over the same strings.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Charlie.

Squinty

Could be a combination of things, a constant drop in power would suggest a leak on the HP side
Or too much hammer pre-load ie valve not closing and the reg is being thrashed.

Based on more recent experience I'm tempted to say that its the regulator.
It's  not closing and the gun is running at full bottle pressure.
Basically fast-flowed but in a block with lower volume (due to the reg)
