regulator end float

I have a short core reg that I can't quite set up, I think it's end float.

Target is 1950psi/ 135bar,
stack is double 0.5mm (()) ((
iirc end float ws 0.65mm
held steady at 1970psi overnight but last 5 bar is slow.

Obviously disc compression is less than the sub-12 stack... am I correct in thinking that I should nip up the end float for a shorter stroke

I normally setup between 0.3 and 0.5 - could be worth a try 👍

Cheers Daz,
Reduced the end-float to 0.5 and its shutting off more positively.
Won't shorten any further until I've put over the chrono.

yes appears to be ok, its a spare-spare that I used to try different pressures on my mk2.
leaked.. stripped it and replaced the core o-rings about 4 months ago reassembled with the same float.

going through the motions of putting a reg back on my mk1 fac.
I think 150bar was too much- topped out at 32ft irrespective of pellet weight and no decrease / increase at 155.

I've found Express to be more accurate than recent batches of Jumbo/AADF and H&N.
Knocking those out at 950 on fast-flow (over 1000 before backing off) so tune the gun to those.

I'll see how it runs on lower pressure stepping 5 bar at a time on two regs
back one off 5 bar.. up 5 bar on the other.... two adjustments 4 pressures, no need to lose a good setting and keep  the best
