Hi chaps,here is a little intro about me
Have shot just about eveything possible,started at a very young age!
Shot clays competitively as a youth,went rough shooting,wildfowling,grouse shooting,ferreting,and stalking.
Shot many dinners with all sorts of weapons,air rifles,shotguns of all descriptions,c/f rifles and rimmies.
Shot on the welsh national pistol shooting team for over 10 yrs,shot many,many events at bisley,and all over the country,even abroad.
Was a toolmaker/toolroom machinist/mechanical engineer, Built custom bespoke handguns/rifles/air rifles, made my own pcp from scratch many years ago,including the reg.
Have had to retire early due to illness,so getting back into air rifles and in the near future will be digging out my lathe/mill/grinders,and tooling that has been in storage for a few years!
Have just joined a couple of forums and using this as a standard form to save me writing it over!!

No bud,wish i did.
Had a massive build portfolio at the time,including masses of pics(not digital obviously,early 80s,not even mobile phones!)
Unfortunately,a very messy divorce meant the demise of everything!

That's a shame. How did it shoot? Would you ever build another? It would be interesting to follow a build like that from scratch. What did you do for a stock?

I will be posting on here once i get my hands on a rapid or two,and get my gear out of storage and set up.
Have had a few over the years and looking forward to getting back into it,the bug never leaves us!!
Finding the rapids seems to be a problem!
