I really love to see everyone's guns so here's my latest one. Had it a few days now. Its very accurate consistent but very loud.
I don't know why they are called the "1000X" as the action is the same length as my HM 1000?
I have just machined a HW100 .177 barrel from Silco to fit and made a moderated shroud.
I don't want to mess with the original barrel but may make some sort of push on shroud for it 🤔
I also have some carbon coming to cover the Titanium  air cylinder Just to see how it will look.
I would have preferred a walnut stock but the laminate does feel great and these guns are few and far between,  we can't even buy a new ones  now  so I'm very pleased to have it.
The breech  is different  to  other rapid derivatives it allows the barrel to be rotated to achieve the optimum position for scope alignment and negates the need to drill a transfer port in the barrel.  The breech does have O ring seals but I'm sure  it is more of a restriction to the air flow?
I did try a standard barrel first but found the new type Breech  easier to load pellets into imo.
It may give it the  Fentons black Titanium HW 100 airtube  treatment that  I've now done to all my other tubed guns.
Hope you find this of interest and thanks fir looking.
ATB.

Superb John, glad you got the deal done and it's back at yours  8)

I'm sure you will sort a shroud for it and I will watch with interest if you do the Fenton's tube set up.

I bet your really pleased you've got it and like you say getting a new one is hard enough so dropping on a second hand one must be even tougher.

Great looking gun there Happydude, think I would fit the black air tube for sure but that's just my opinion 👍🏻
