I could do with some help if anyone can help that is on how to get rid of this horrible plant that is growing like mad over all my fence from next door, and into the garage and just about everywhere i`m hoping it`s not knot weed,

If its that prolific it might well be, check the leaf shape from google images, If it is Knot Weed best not to be too public about it. Very strict controls on knot weed growth.

I`m not planning on moving anywhere,...but if it is knot weed what do i do to get rid of it,...any idea`s!

I`ll post pictures up soon as possible but for now its dark here,...But i deffo need to stop this because its becoming a right pain in the backside,

I really hope for your sanity's sake it isn't knotweed, as it cannot be permanently eradicated, it can be controlled with specialist treatments but nothing has been found that can actually kill it or its sub base root system. A building plot near me was left vacant for over 5 years as the owner discovered knotweed during a survey, he was not allowed to build until the area was cleared of ALL traces of knotweed. The local council were all over it trying to contain its growth and spread.

Well this stuff stick`s to objects as it grows and moves,...somehow it has something on it`s roots as it spreads and it sticks itself to the object it want`s to move onto,

But it can be ripped off very easy by pulling on the branch it comes from, but it soon grow`s back and also tries to take over most of the plants in the garden,....But this is not in my garden but in the other person`s garden and is trying to come into mine, But they don`t seem to interested in what it`s doing tbh,

The photo is Japanese Knotweed.
If you have it you have serious problems, we encounter it while carrying out work for the Environment Agency and Network Rail if we can we fence it off and try not to disturb the ground near it. If it has to be disturbed any machinery or digging tools have to be cleaned and treated to stop it spreading and any soil and plants have to be segregated and treat as toxic waste. We had a job in Cornwall and the waste was dumped underground in Wheel Jane mine, a disused tin mine and the costs were horrific.

Japanese knotweed can be dealt with.
The problem is the chemicals used to eradicate it here in the uk we are not allowed to use due to the Dutch bylaws and the water table we have to follow in the uk.
It is a very evasive plant not and should not be disturbed in any way as that can lead to leagal action against you.
The reason it is very invasive is it is not native to the uk hence the name.
The waterboard have serious problems trying to control it along the banks of our rivers and canals where it is most abundant.
you can get systemic chemicals to deal with it if you know where to get them but at your peril be it.
I have dealt with this plant many a time over the years and got rid of it as have many other people.
Another even bigger problem in the uk is the vine weevil a nocturnal beetle which is not native to the uk but devastates plants in the uk.
The same goes for the treatment for that we have to follow the dutch bylaws and water table laws.
I have also dealt with this pest over the years with products that do work but have been taken off the market in the uk.

Took the photo`s of the stuff,.....I don`t know what it is but i do know it`s doing my head in because its everywhere all coming from next doors un-cared for garden,

That looks more like Ivy.
At certain times of the year you can almost watch it grow. Chop it back and stick it in the recycling bin as it will damage walls, fences, window frames and roofs if it gets a hold.

That is crows foot ivy.
That can be sorted out easy with a few products.
You will also need to add a little washing up liquid to the products as ivy has a very waxy leaf so soap will also aid in the product working.
you will need a systemic chemical which will work it,s way back to the root system and after a few weeks will become ph neutral in the ground.

Yep definitely Ivy thank goodness for that, again very prolific grower but very manageable. Good luck with the containment process. If you can get next door and cut the thick hairy looking stems it will die off and you'll be able to strip your side much easier.

Ivy has an "advantageous root system" which means those little hairy roots grab hold and absorb water. Cut the stems at the bottom then spray salt water all over the surface it's growing on.
