Garden hunting

Back behind a trigger after a few years but am I right to assume there's currently legally nothing to stop me shooting woodies in the back garden with my sub-12ft.lbs Rapid with all the right and proper care taken not to let pellets leave the perimeter...?

You do need to comply with the general licence too mate

If you are in a council house your pellet can not trespass out of your garden boundary also.

You've got to make sure your pellets don't leave your property areas.. be it council owned property,freehold,leased,permissions and farms boundaries also period..

I think with the current general licence and Packham and wild justice interference it is difficult to justify shooting them in the garden.  As said read the GL in detail and make sure you k ow your reasons for shooting them are valid.

Living next to some very large fields i tend to get lots of pigeons,  rats,  squirrel,  and magpies.

The rats go into our bins,  in the morning i  can guarantee if i open the bin lid around 20 rats will be waiting to jump out.
