Anschütz theoben 2027 biathlon air rifle

There is a Anschütz Theoben model 2027 for sale, it looks like a Rapid modified with a biathlon style bolt/lever.

What would this be worth?
Its a nice looking rifle.

Believe it was designated the  Summer Biathlon Trainer, made 2001-2002 before Rutherford took over.

TBH its not something you'd see very often ( if ever)  in the UK, wouldn't have an idea on price. What do you pay for if the asking price is fair ? a 25 year old biathon trainer or a rare Theoben made biathlon trainer.

how rare would it be, is there any info how many where made.
its offered on a auction site in Germany and the price is above 1000 euro at moment and that seems ok.

No idea on volumes, would be a question for Anschutz.
Theoben had stopped using Anshutz barrels and triggers by 2004, did they become an in-house model or were they superceded?

Interesting that it appears to have a thumb close bolt, as per a rimfire, but not the foster system to hold it closed

Very little, just the manual and this picture which was from a dufunct forum post from 10-15 years ago..No info then.

was planning to bid, but totally forgot about it.
It went a bit above 1100 euro.

Did ask some questions about the condition and it looked to me that the stock was damaged.
Could not get any reply from the seller, and the seller stated in the ad that he would only send to Germany.
Usually they will mostly send to Holland if you ask them but as said before there was no reaction from sellers side.
